CHANGES TO OUR SERVICE
From 1st April Sefton Sexual Health Service will be delivered by Brook. There will be some temporary adjustments to the service for the period leading up to the change in provider and more up to date information will be available here in the coming weeks.
From 24th March asymptomatic (no symptoms) screening will not be carried out in clinics whilst we transfer to Brook. Home testing kits will not be available from 14th March until 1st April.
BV is not a sexually transmitted infection, but it can cause an increase in unpleasant smelling vaginal discharge. It may settle down on its own or vary through the monthly cycle but it can be treated with antibiotics.
