Guidance on attending Sefton Sexual Health services Sexual and Reproductive Health Patients

Due to Covid-19 the NHS has put in place measures to ensure the safety of all patients and NHS staff while also ensuring services are available to the public.

We are offering services in a different way to keep you and our staff safe. We are still open and can often provide support without seeing anyone face-to-face.

There are currently no walk-in services but if you want to be seen about a problem related to your sexual health please phone 01695 656550 between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 9:00 am and 4:00 pm.

Please do not walk in and attend one of our clinics.

You will be registered by a receptionist who will book you in to speak to a nurse or doctor later that day. The health professional will ring you back, discuss your concerns and explain the options with you over the telephone,

We also have online services:

If you want testing for STIs but have no symptoms please order a test here.  You will be sent tests for Chlamydia/Gonorrhoea but not HIV/Syphilis as these are less likely to be necessary.

If you feel that you need  tests for HIV/Syphilis you can  order them online from Free Testing HIV

If you have symptoms and for further advice, please call 01695 656550
